Description

As a Quantitative Developer at Kappa Lab, you will collaborate closely with the trading team and play a pivotal role in translating quantitative trading strategies into operational algorithms and production-grade code. You will be working at the forefront of the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrency trading, and this position demands a blend of problem-solving skills, adaptability, and collaborative teamwork. If you possess a strong background in programming, excellent analytical skills, and an interest in the crypto markets, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Implementing, testing, and deploying quantitative models into the trading system.
Developing libraries, tools, and frameworks to facilitate quantitative research and operational deployment.
Collaborating with Core Developers to integrate the trading code into our infrastructure.
Conducting backtesting and performance analysis of trading strategies.

Required skills

Excellent Python skills, and experience with Cython, C++ or any object-oriented language.
Strong computer science fundamentals, with a focus on algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
A proactive, innovative mindset for solving complex problems.

Desirable skills

Experience in developing and optimising high-throughput, low-latency systems.
A strong grasp of mathematical and statistical concepts, with a focus on machine learning and predictive models.
Direct experience in cryptocurrency trading and familiarity with exchange APIs and protocols.
A degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
